Conceived in 2017 Show-me was created and designed as the first live and digital forum dedicated to self-employed solo and duo artists. duo. It is directed by Cameroonian artist Blick Bassy and Swiss journalist Elisabeth journalist Elisabeth Stoudmann. Its first two editions took place in 2018 and The first two editions took place in 2018 and 2020 at the Moods in Zurich. In 2020, the event brought together 500 people, 30 music business professionals and generated 33,000 views on Facebook. Show-me has proven to be a talent incubator as well as an essential and innovative platform for creating a bridge between self-employed artists, promoters and industry players (bookeur, publishers, distributors, aggregators, etc.) as well as an inclusive event where the artist is at the centre and can reflect on his or her career development.
The event is co-produced by the association Mis en Art in Bordeaux and On The Vibe in Vevey.
