Giulia DabalA

Originally from the small town of La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Jura Mountains, Giulia Dabalà caused a sensation in 2017 with her first EP Voices, which was produced entirely acappella. Also backing singer with the group Muthoni Drummer Queen from 2018 to 2020, she has rubbed shoulders with many of the great European stages in this context. A superb launching pad for a career that already looks promising. As a soloist, Giulia Dabalà sings, does human beat box and self-samples. In trio, she remains the queen of the microphone while orchestrating her ethereal and telluric pop.

With a Master’s degree in performance, she is currently working on her debut album (due for release in April 2021). This year at M4Music, the mecca of Swiss contemporary music, her synthetic music and layered vocals won her best pop demo at the Demotape clinic with the title War Drums. A well-deserved award for someone who says she was already singing at the age of two, before she could even speak!

victor marc

Multi-instrumentalist and autodidact, the Lyonnais Victor Marc, proposes a singular and surprising indie-pop music of Anglo-Saxon inspiration. Between old-school rock, folk and urban music, he plays solo, accompanied by a virtual orchestra concentrated in a looper. Thanks to nonchalant reverb effects, a vintage guitar sound, lyrics largely in English punctuated here and there by a...
